Tasting Overwhelming

Some serious tasting went down on the 12th of June, 2011. Was given the chance to dive nose first into a few glasses of Macallan Single Oak. Definitely love Scotch, and may just have to start including my endeavors with the Whisky world into this blog. We will see...

Along with this scrumptious Single Malt however, went some fine smokes. The Graycliff Profesionale was definitely on the Medium side, with Indonesian wrapper. Had a big finish on it, with some earthy notes and almost almond-like flavors.

Following this beauty was the Graycliff Espresso, which was heavier for sure... but I would not quite go to say it was a full-bodied cigar (it was more on the medium side). Strong coffee (duh) and chocolate notes, with the same spicy finish I find I really enjoy in these Graycliffs. This one ranks up next to one of my favorite, the Graycliff Turbo.

A great day that ended with a great feast. Good food, good drinks, welcoming hosts and a plethora of interesting conversations.
