Now on to other news. The Russian Kvass we failed so miserably at on the first go around was a success this time. I would not go as far to strive to say it was a huge success... in fact success is probably making it sound better than it really is.
We "succeeded" in making a Kvass; however, our plan to make something so amazingly brain-splattering that you couldn't only drink one was a bit of a failure.
There were strong notes of yeast, yeast, bread, yeast, and some funky shit. At least we proved we were not total good-for-nothings. We made the damn beer, and that's that. The end. Show's over. Time to make some grown-up brews now.
